The Red Village is a next generation play-to-earn game, which brings dark-fantasy gaming to the blockchain. As a Tournament fighting bloodsport, The Red Village brings Champions from five character classes; Barbarians, Druids, Paladins, Rangers, and Wizards, together in intricately designed Arenas to fight for honour, glory, and riches in front of the malevolent Blood Queen. With a huge and passionate community following it, and Tournament mode due for beta release in February, 2022, The Red Village is one of the most highly anticipated blockchain games of the year.

Accordingly, The Red Village is extremely proud to announce that Sebastien Borget, co-founder and COO at The Sandbox, has joined the team as a strategic advisor. He will advise and mentor The Red Village on strategy and operations. Sebastien takes a seat alongside Rob Salha and Chris Laurent, co-founders of ZED RUN, who currently act as advisors for The Red Village game.

Sebastien has over 14 years experience growing startups; nine of those in mobile gaming, and four at the cutting edge of the blockchain gaming experience. He is the driving force behind The Sandbox, a virtual world where players can build, own, and monetise their gaming experiences.

The Sandbox is the largest blockchain based decentralised metaverse, which has seen over USD $211m in land sales and partnered with brands including Snoop Dogg, Adidas, and The Walking Dead. The Sandbox (a subsidiary of gaming firm Animoca Brands) raised USD $93m in Series B funding in November 2021, led by Softbank.

Sebastien is also the president of the Blockchain Gaming Alliance, which is an organisation committed to the adoption of blockchain technologies in gaming, and serves to promote blockchain technology within the gaming industry.
